Gray turns 2!!!
It's hard to believe our little boy turned two this weekend! We had a fun train party to celebrate his special day. I thought I did a decent job of taking pictures but I realized as I was uploading them that I missed a lot of people. Our little guy is so blessed with family and friends who love him very much!
Gray has loved trains and Thomas for quite awhile, so we've been talking about his "train birthday" for months. I'm pretty sure "birthday" and "train/thomas/henry/percy/gordan" are synonymous in his mind!
I love this picture. He makes this face with his tongue quite frequently.
Grandpa Dave aka train conductor
My brother in law, Miguel, had the awesome idea of turning the kids table into a real Thomas, complete with a working smoke stack. It was awesome...he did a great job (another picture further below).
Taking it all in
The train conductor was very into his job
Big sis helping blow out the candles
The aforementioned smokestack...!
Gray woke up to his very own train table the morning of his bday. I think his face about says it all. He is currently in bed with about six trains and not sleeping because he's having so much fun talking to them!
Gray, you have filled every day of the past two years with so much joy. You are sweet, funny, snuggly, smart, easy going, and silly. You are talking so much these days and getting so big! There isn't anything better than getting a big hug or kiss from you, and I love getting to snuggle with you at bedtime while we read books and sing songs. I also love picking you up from school on Mondays. You come running to me, yelling: "mommy, mommy, mommy," and as soon as I have you in my arms you immediately ask to go get sissy. It is so sweet. I wish I could keep you this age forever, little guy. We love you so much and are so thankful God gave you to us! Happy 2nd Birthday!

Mother's Day 2013
Happy Mother's Day! I could never in a million years have imagined how much my heart could love these two little people before I became their mom. God is so good.
We had a fun weekend celebrating Mother's Day. Today we enjoyed our first kite flying experience and I actually took my nice camera to get some pics.
My sweet boy. He kept looking back at me, reaching out his hand and saying "tome on, mommy." Melt.
Our girl is getting so big. She has been very into Mother's Day this year. She and Matt have been planning my gift (a necklace and some earrings) for weeks and she did an amazing job keeping the secret.
She was so good at flying the kite! She ran and ran and had her "serious" face on. She kept making comments like: "Ooo la la, this is fun!" and "Fantastic!" Always making us laugh!
Such a pretty day. I love May.
Momentary time out for pushing sis. Keepin it real, folks. :)
Big hug afterwards.
Cuties.
Thankful for Matt who made it such a great day for me.
I can't believe he will be turning TWO in one week. :(
Buds.
Kite runner Saylor
Funny faces.
So thankful for these two!
