Six Months!

Sweet Gray is six (almost seven) months old! He is getting cuter every day and we are having a great time with him! In the past month Gray has:
- Learned to sit by himself independently and get from his tummy to sitting independently
- Started prevacid for reflux
- Still not gotten any teeth
- Had a lot of colds :(
- Started taking his bath with his big sis! He LOVES it!
- Still eating four bottles and 2ish meals per day. I need to get better about this...
- Still naps 3 times a day, although the only nap that is super consistent is the 12:30/1 pm nap. He sleeps from about 7:30 to 7:30, give or take 30 minutes on each side.
- Had a long stretch of waking up again at night. Boo. It's been better since we started the refulx meds (more on that in a minute).
- Celebrated his first Thanksgiving, first great Longhorn victory, and first visit with Santa
- Learned to crawl (practically speaking). He gets where he wants to go in a sort of crawl, sit, scoot, downward dog routine he's got going. It's so cute. :)
- Decided he never, ever, ever wants to sit still. He is on the go!
-Remained our sweet, laid back, loveable guy. He is such a good baby. I'm not sure why we got so lucky. He goes to sleep easy, loves to laugh and grin, is usually content or if he's fussy it's easy to fix. The hardest thing about Gray is eating. He had gone through a long stretch of just not eating well at all. He would take a couple ounces of his bottle and then refuse the rest. So then of course he was hungry later. It can take a reallllly long time to actually feed him. He has been like this since 3-4 months but in the past two months it got REALLY bad. It finally dawned on me that maybe he was having silent refulx because he was just so incredibly squirmy especially during feeds. So we started prevaicd and in the two weeks he's been on it he's gained two pounds and (generally) is eating much better. I still don't think we have all of this figured out but it is improved from one month ago.
